Why A Travel Agent?

questions Why a Travel Agent?

In a nutshell, yes.

There are good reasons why most cruises are booked through travel agents.

A typical cruise ship may have as many as 35 different stateroom types, hundreds of choices of excursion packages, different length of cruises ranging for 3 to 120 days and numerous on board charges.  An experienced agent can help you navigate these complexities and may be able to secure a discounted airfare, cabin stateroom upgrades or other perks.  Plus a travel agent can advise you about travel visas, passports and other regulatory rules that may apply.

Unlike hotels and airlines, cruise lines actively court agents and offer them better deals than you could find on your own.  Plus, your travel agent will supply you with a travel brochure of the cruise ship and its itinerary.

F.Y.I- the cruise lines pay the agents’ commission, meaning you pay nothing for their services.
